There are many paths one can take in life. The longest of them all is the way leading to the heart. Anyone who resists this path might take a lot of their time to find it again. Accepting it will be the best thing you can do to your life helping you to live a happy and comfortable life.
A lot of people today have changed the way of their thinking because of the falling relationships we are experiencing today. After all these things that one goes through, they choose to remain without love because of fear. We have to accept that it is not easy for one to live without love. The bible talks of different types of love that are vital for one to show the other.
All Christians should follow these since it is what God wants us to do. However, not everyone who has some knowledge on these type of loves. Different types of love are based on the feeling we have for different types of people. It is important for Christians and anyone else to make sure that we exercise all this type of love.
Here are some of the love that we find in the bible and get to exercise them in our daily lives.
Eros is a type of love. This is the most common type of love we have with many people in the world today. This type of love is also known as sexual or passionate love. Eros love should be between two people of a different gender who are united together legally. Having some romantic love with your relatives is a sin, you should not exercise Eros love with any of your relatives. Today, Eros love is being violated in different ways by most people. People of the same gender should not fall in love with one another at any time.
Storge. Storge is a type of love that has been mentioned in the bible in the New Testament. It is the kind of love we have for our relatives or family. We usually get it once we are born and we do not have to choose it. There are people who create enmity with their relatives hence violating storge love. In most families, we experience a lot of enmity to an extent of not speaking to one another or seeing one another. It is important to love our relatives because most of the time you find out that they are people whom you grew up with.
Philia is also a type of love. This type of love is not mentioned in the bible. It is the kind of love we have during friendship or companionship. It develops once we have insights, time, experiences, vision and interest with another person. It will be easy for you to develop philia if you get a person whom you have a common thing with. One has the right to choose philia.
